Description
The Acoustical Society of America (ASA) runs the society-wide POMA Student Paper Competition through its Proceedings of Meetings on Acoustics publication. The competition recognizes student papers based on presentations or posters at ASA meetings, connecting work shared in the meeting program with a published paper.
Up to five winning papers receive an award and certificate. POMA also notes winning papers on its cover page and promotes them through email and social media campaigns, bringing students’ acoustics work to a wider audience.
