Description
The Post-Doctoral Joint Positions at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) School of Mathematics provide approximately 10 early-career researchers with the opportunity to pursue collaborative, full-time research and, in some cases, teaching at IAS and partner institutions. The program features two primary types of appointments:
- DIMACS Joint Positions (Rutgers University): Two-year roles focused on computer science and discrete mathematics.
- Veblen Research Instructorship (Princeton University): Three-year positions in any area of mathematics, with two years at Princeton (teaching and research) and one year at IAS (research only).
Select candidates may also be considered for the Bourgain Fellowship, extending support to four years (two years at Princeton without teaching, two years at IAS). These positions are designed to foster academic collaboration and provide access to world-class resources at IAS and its partners.
