Description
The Fulbright Postdoctoral Award in Slovakia supports early-career scholars in all disciplines for one semester of research or combined teaching and research. Scholars may propose their own research or undertake a project designated by a host institution. Teaching/research participants teach at least one undergraduate or graduate course while pursuing their scholarly work.
The J. William Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange in the Slovak Republic administers the program with support from the Slovak and U.S. governments. The award aims to deepen scholarly expertise, expand international networks, and strengthen mutual understanding between the United States and Slovakia. Scholars may also mentor students, assist with faculty or curriculum development, give public talks, and engage with their host communities.
