Description
The Welch Foundation’s Postdoctoral Fellows Grant Program, offered in partnership with the Life Sciences Research Foundation (LSRF), provides three-year fellowships supporting chemical research careers in Texas. The program seeks researchers tackling important chemistry-related problems in interesting and novel ways, within laboratories offering world-class training.
Supported work spans all chemistry subfields, including organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, quantum, surface, theoretical, medicinal, catalysis, earth, space, and electrochemistry. Allied fields include biochemistry, chemical biology, chemical physics, chemical engineering, materials science, and nanoscience, including photonics and plasmonics. In addition to fellowship support administered through LSRF, Welch provides a supplemental research grant to the host institution, with the fellow named as principal investigator, for research resources and professional development.
