Description
This program provides three-year fellowships for recent PhD graduates from outside Texas to pursue innovative, fundamental chemical research at Texas institutions. Fellows receive substantial salary and research support, including a supplemental research grant to promote independent research and professional growth. The award is designed to attract and develop top talent in all subfields of chemistry and allied disciplines, fostering the next generation of leaders in chemical research within Texas. Fellows are designated as Welch Postdoctoral Fellows of The Life Sciences Research Foundation and are expected to acknowledge this support in their publications.
