Description
The Foundation Fighting Blindness Postdoctoral Fellowship Award provides early-career scientists with financial and professional support to advance research on inherited retinal degenerations (IRD) and dry age-related macular degeneration (dAMD). The fellowship emphasizes innovative, high-impact research and structured mentorship to foster the next generation of vision science leaders. Fellows are expected to lead their research proposals, with mentors providing guidance and career development opportunities. Projects should address one or more of the Foundation’s six research priority areas, and proposals from underrepresented groups and international applicants are strongly encouraged.
