Description
The BrightFocus Foundation offers Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards through its Alzheimer’s Disease Research program to support promising young scientists in the late stages of mentored training as they launch independent research careers. The program funds innovative projects in established laboratories that advance the understanding, prevention, and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). BrightFocus strongly encourages applications from individuals underrepresented in Alzheimer’s disease research, with an emphasis on fostering creativity and diversity in the scientific community. The fellowship is intended for researchers within five years of obtaining their terminal degree.
