Description
The Fulbright Israel Postdoctoral Fellowship provides funding and support for up to 16 outstanding Israeli postdoctoral scholars to conduct research at accredited universities or non-profit research institutes in the United States during the 2027/28 academic year. The fellowship aims to foster academic excellence, promote cultural exchange, and strengthen collaboration between Israel and the U.S. Scholars from all fields are welcome to apply, except those whose research involves direct patient care or clinical activities.
The fellowship includes a generous grant, health insurance, visa assistance, and orientation, enabling scholars to advance their research and serve as cultural ambassadors. Fellows are expected to engage with both academic and community groups in the U.S. and share their experiences upon return to Israel.
