The Society for Renaissance Studies (SRS) offers postdoctoral fellowships supporting research in any aspect of Renaissance studies. Its understanding of the Renaissance is broad, welcoming work across disciplinary, chronological, and geographical boundaries. The Society prizes innovative research approaches and assesses proposals for originality, feasibility, and their contribution to understanding the Renaissance.
The fellowship provides half-time support over one year. Research need not be an entirely new project: applicants developing their doctoral work should demonstrate how the funding enables further research and goals that would otherwise be unattainable. The Society is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and welcomes applicants who need flexible working hours or have caring responsibilities.
