--- ## Description Breakthrough T1D's Postdoctoral Fellowships are designed to attract promising scientists at the start of their professional careers in type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Fellows work under the guidance of a sponsor in a supportive training environment, developing a research plan relevant to T1D. The fellowship emphasizes a structured research and training plan, clear career development goals, and strong mentorship. Applicants must outline how the fellowship will help them achieve independence as T1D investigators.
