Description
The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Postdoctoral Fellowships are designed to support outstanding postdoctoral researchers who demonstrate international mobility and wish to pursue research in the life sciences. Awardees receive financial support for up to two years, including a salary or stipend (depending on host country), relocation allowance, and additional support for fellows with children. The program places a strong emphasis on fostering scientific excellence, career development (including free access to EMBO Laboratory Leadership courses), and integration into the extensive EMBO Fellows network. Fellows are expected to conduct research that addresses fundamental biological questions and provides mechanistic insight, rather than purely descriptive or applied outcomes.
