Description
This fellowship program is designed to support outstanding postdoctoral scientists in conducting research within plant science, agriculture, and food biotechnology. The goal is to empower early-career researchers to develop independent research areas that address major challenges in sustainable agriculture and food production. The focus is on fundamental, high-impact research that advances knowledge beyond the current state-of-the-art, with an emphasis on sustainability, resilience, and innovative technologies. Projects may involve developing resilient and resource-efficient plants, leveraging microorganisms, advancing sustainable food systems, creating alternative ingredients, and utilizing data science for sustainable solutions.
