Description
The Postdoctoral Junior Leader fellowships, offered by la Caixa Foundation, provide support for exceptional researchers of any nationality aiming to advance their careers in STEM fields (including life sciences, technology, physics, chemistry, engineering, and mathematics) at leading research centers or universities in Spain or Portugal. The program is designed to foster scientific excellence, international mobility, and leadership among early-career researchers. There are two distinct calls:
- Incoming: For researchers who have resided in Spain or Portugal for less than 12 months in the three years prior to the deadline.
- Retaining: For researchers who have resided in Spain or Portugal for more than 12 months in the three years prior to the deadline.
Each fellowship lasts up to 3 years and includes a competitive salary, research costs, family and mobility allowances, interdisciplinary training, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
