Description

The Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship, offered by the Israel Institute, provides Israeli scholars with the opportunity to undertake multi-year postdoctoral teaching positions at leading American universities. Over three academic years, fellows are expected to teach at least four undergraduate courses annually (with at least three focused on Israel) and participate in public or academic events about Israel. The program aims to foster academic exchange, professional development, and the expansion of Israel Studies at U.S. institutions, while helping fellows build international scholarly networks. Placement must be approved by the Israel Institute and can be at top-ranked public or private universities in the United States.
