The Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame offers Postdoctoral Visiting Fellowships to newly minted PhDs conducting international research on global democracy. Fellows receive dedicated time, research resources, and opportunities to advance their own research agendas through collaboration with faculty, scholars, and practitioners from the United States and abroad.
Postdoctoral fellows join the Institute’s residential Visiting Fellows cohort and contribute to its scholarly community through research presentations, weekly seminars, lectures, and other events. The program supports research intended for publication and emphasizes projects whose importance, originality, and contribution are clear across disciplinary boundaries. Selection considers both the quality of the research design and the work applicants can accomplish during their fellowship.
