Supports postgraduate students in Hong Kong to organize local academic conferences or seminars featuring international guest speakers to foster research exchange and collaboration.

Funding Amounts: Up to HK$50,000 per application for travel/accommodation of guest speakers; max HK$12,600 per speaker for hotel/subsistence (up to 7 nights).

Description
This scheme provides financial support for postgraduate students at UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong to organize locally held inter-institutional and/or inter-disciplinary conferences or seminars. The aim is to foster academic exchange, encourage collaboration among postgraduate students, and facilitate interactions with distinguished scholars from outside Hong Kong. Funding is specifically intended to cover the travel and accommodation expenses of invited non-local guest speakers, thereby enhancing the academic environment and exposure for postgraduate students.
