The Potamkin Prize recognizes major scientific contributions to understanding the causes, prevention, treatment, and cure of Pick's, Alzheimer's, and related diseases. It is presented by the American Brain Foundation in partnership with the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), with philanthropic support from the Potamkin Family. The prize recognizes scientific accomplishments and their impact on the field rather than funding a prescribed research project or approach.
