Description
This grant initiative, administered by Tides through the WE LEAD (Women's Environmental Leadership Fund) program, aims to empower and resource women and gender-diverse leaders on the frontlines of environmental justice in the United States and Puerto Rico. The program focuses on supporting organizations that are led by and serve Black, Indigenous, and other women of color, especially those developing community-based solutions to environmental hazards and climate change. Funding is intended to foster healthier, safer environments and to elevate leaders and organizations that are building long-term, systemic change at the intersection of racial, gender, and environmental justice.
