Description
The Prairie Fellowship, awarded by Ragdale, supports artists living with disabilities and/or accessibility needs. The fellowship provides a fully funded 18-day residency, a $1,000 stipend, and additional room and board for a personal care assistant if required. Recipients have access to four accessible live/work spaces (writing, visual arts, music, and dance studios) and participate in a vibrant, inclusive artistic community. The program aims to remove barriers for artists who might otherwise be unable to participate in residencies, fostering diversity and accessibility in the arts.
