Description
The KidneyCure Pre-Doctoral Fellowship Program supports doctoral research across the entire spectrum of kidney biology and disease. Run by KidneyCure, the ASN Foundation for Kidney Research, the program aims to attract PhD students to nephrology early in their careers. Students interested in either clinical or basic science may propose kidney-directed research under a primary sponsor who is conducting kidney research.
The fellowship combines stipend support with mentored research training and participation in ASN Kidney Week through the Kidney STARS program. KidneyCure encourages applications from individuals whose personal backgrounds and life experiences bring valuable perspectives to nephrology, particularly those who have encountered barriers to entering the field.
