Description
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’ Business Training and Support Unit offers Pre-Hire Economic Development Grants to build an industry-specific workforce where businesses face a shortage of skilled workers. Eligible training providers deliver the skills, certifications, or training employers need, creating a pipeline of job-ready workers and supporting economic growth in Wyoming.
Each project brings together a training provider, a business or industry, a local or regional economic development entity, and a local DWS Workforce Center. The workforce center helps recruit trainees and coordinate job placement. Training may prepare workers for a new or expanding business or replace workers who have left.
