Description
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’ Business Training and Support Unit offers Pre-Obligation of Training Funds for economic development initiatives. Wyoming economic development entities working with a business can request a commitment of training funds in advance, either to help attract a new business to the state or to support workforce expansion at a business already operating in Wyoming.
Once approved, the obligated funds can support Pre-Hire Grants, Business Training Grants, or a combination of the two. Pre-obligation connects an early economic development commitment with the business’s later applications for training funding.
