Description
The California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) offers Predoctoral Fellowships through its 2026–2027 Cycle 33 Call for Applications. The fellowships support doctoral students at California institutions conducting breast cancer research under established investigators. They aim to strengthen the next generation of breast cancer researchers and address research and training gaps created by changes in federal research priorities. CBCRP is administered by the University of California Research Grants Program Office.
Projects must address breast cancer within CBCRP’s priority areas: community impact and social context; etiology and prevention; breast-cell biology; or detection, prognosis, and treatment. The program encourages work on environmental contributors, health disparities, and population-level prevention. Projects addressing topics in the Reducing the Burden of Breast Cancer Initiatives receive priority.
