Description
The Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement’s STEM Action Center offers PreK–12 Classroom Grants to help Utah public school educators and administrators develop innovative STEM experiences. Projects should address the needs of students in an individual classroom rather than apply a standard approach across multiple settings. The grant can also support STEM activities in school-sponsored after-school programs.
The program aims to expand idea-sharing among educators. Findings from funded projects are shared at STEM conferences and in the STEM Resource Library. Reviewers consider creativity and originality, including how an applicant proposes to use a kit in a new way.
