Description
The Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office (NDOT-HSO) offers this mini-grant to help Nebraska law enforcement agencies acquire preliminary breath testers for alcohol-related enforcement. Its mini-grant contracts support specific purchases or short-term activities lasting no longer than 30 days.
The grant focuses on putting breath-testing equipment into agency use. Agencies receiving equipment must use it during the current grant period to support the program’s alcohol-impaired-driving target, then report the activity it generates for three years. NDOT-HSO defines that activity in the award letter.
