This grant program supports the creation, development, and stabilization of organizations, programs, and projects whose mission and artistic work are deeply rooted in and reflective of historically under-represented, diverse cultures. The focus is on organizations serving Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. Funding aims to foster organizational stability, expand authentic and relevant arts and cultural programming, and support the training of capable administrators. Applicants should demonstrate that their programs and staff are representative of, or offer unique perspectives regarding, diverse cultures—particularly BIPOC communities.
