The Presidential Service Award from the American Physiological Society (APS) honors an APS member who has demonstrated extended and outstanding volunteer service to the Society and the broader physiology community. Eligible activities include editing and reviewing for APS journals, serving on committees, leading sections or interest groups, participating in task forces and special projects, and conducting outreach to the scientific community or the public. The recipient is selected by the APS Executive Board and is recognized at the American Physiology Summit.
