Description
Ohio State University's President's Research Excellence (PRE) Program offers Fall 2026 Accelerator awards for curiosity-driven, high-risk, high-reward research at the pilot scale. The program supports teams of two to three investigators bringing at least two distinct disciplinary perspectives to work toward an identified proposal target. Applications in any topic area are invited.
Teams must make a compelling case for the proposed research's merit and anticipated scientific, technological, or societal impacts. Awards support project-specific research needs, including materials, research services, and eligible research personnel. The program also accommodates theoretical and computational projects with different resource needs. Research Development assistance is available upon request, as appropriate to the project's scope and scale.
