    Description

The Pretty Wild Fellowship provides financial and creative support for four cinematic, character-driven short documentary films about the outdoors and the stories anchored there. Presented by YETI and developed in partnership with Points North Institute and Little Monster Films, the program spotlights the beauty, grandeur, and vulnerability of wild places alongside the people whose lives unfold within them.

The fellowship supports emerging and established filmmakers working across a wide range of creative approaches and styles. Its priorities include amplifying voices, stories, issues, and narratives from historically underrepresented regions. Previous supported projects have centered on river rafting and ecological conservation in the Colombian Amazon, a child’s adventure with a Highland cow, women polar explorers in Svalbard, and a woman training to skydive from the stratosphere.
