Description
The Periodontal Research Group (PRG) Presidents’ Travel Award supports travel to and accommodation at the IADR General Session & Exhibition for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students presenting periodontology research. Offered in honor of the PRG’s past presidents and sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive Company, the award reflects the Group’s commitment to enhancing research and attracting junior researchers into academia. It supports meeting participation rather than a separate research project.
The award considers abstracts across three PRG review areas: Diagnosis/Epidemiology, Therapy, and Pathogenesis. Each review group selects two qualified abstracts, and a panel of past PRG presidents selects the winner. The award is presented at the PRG’s annual business meeting during the General Session.
