Description
The Leakey Foundation's Primate Research Fund provides emergency financial support for established long-term primate field sites threatened by unexpected funding shortfalls or emergencies. The fund is designed to safeguard the continuity of projects with at least 10 years of continuous behavioral data collection on individually identified primates. Priority is given to sites that integrate both research and conservation, ensuring critical datasets and fieldwork are not lost during periods of financial uncertainty.
