The Laurance S. Rockefeller Graduate Prize Fellowships are administered by Princeton University’s University Center for Human Values (UCHV). They recognize post-generals graduate students in any discipline with distinguished academic records whose dissertation research centrally involves the critical study of human values. The program provides sustained dissertation support while bringing fellows together to develop and improve their research.
A central feature is the yearlong, faculty-led Dissertation Seminar, where fellows present work in progress and participate in workshops on career development and placement. Informal exchanges complement the seminar, and fellows are invited to engage in the Center’s seminars, colloquia and special events. The fellowship emphasizes substantial progress toward dissertation completion and constructive participation in a community of scholars working on human values.
