Description
The American Chemical Society’s Priscilla Carney Jones Scholarship helps female undergraduates continue their studies in chemistry or related sciences as they begin their junior or senior year. Established by Paul R. Jones in memory of his wife, it reflects Priscilla Carney Jones’s wish to help other women after the difficulties she faced early in her career as a chemist.
The scholarship is awarded on the basis of both financial need and academic achievement. It provides a one-time contribution toward tuition, books, and laboratory fees for students who have conducted undergraduate research or plan to do so.
