    Description

The PROCORE – France/Hong Kong Joint Research Scheme is a bilateral initiative by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) and the Consulate General of France (CGF) in Hong Kong, launched to foster research collaboration between Hong Kong and France. The scheme provides one-year and two-year travel grants for joint research exchanges, as well as grants to support conferences or workshops held in either Hong Kong or France. The program is designed to facilitate partnerships between researchers in similar fields, advance new research, and provide opportunities for research postgraduate students to gain overseas training and experience.

There is no quota on the number of applications per university, and the scheme encourages broad participation, including from young researchers. Grants are awarded based on academic merit, collaboration prospects, and the potential for training early-career researchers.
