Description
PROCORE is a France–Hong Kong research partnership launched in 1998 by the Research Grants Council (RGC) and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong. It supports research visits and conferences or workshops that help researchers develop and disseminate new work. All scientific fields, including the humanities and social sciences, are covered. In France, the programme is implemented by the ministries responsible for foreign affairs and higher education and research.
The scheme favours new collaborations with prospects for lasting partnerships. Research postgraduate students can join justified visits to partner institutions, gaining training and overseas experience. Workshops bring together researchers in related fields and may involve multiple institutions. Both partners assess applications and jointly select the work supported.
