    Description

ACC-APG-Aberdeen Division A administers this opportunity to maintain existing APEX Accelerators serving large, small, and newly started businesses. Accelerators provide specialized assistance to help businesses identify opportunities and obtain or perform government contracts, subcontracts, and innovation and technology awards, including SBIR/STTR awards. The program seeks to expand participation in government contracting, foster innovation, and strengthen the defense industrial base.

Recipients work cooperatively with the Department of War and other government agencies. Services include individual counseling, training, bid matching, certification and registration assistance, subcontracting support, and post-award guidance. Core procurement technical assistance must be free. Recipients must actively seek to assist small businesses, including disadvantaged, women-owned, HUBZone, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, without limiting services solely by business size, age, or employee count.
