Description
Sundance Institute’s Producers Program helps independent fiction and nonfiction producers find, shape, and champion original filmmaking voices. Its year-round support includes grants, labs, fellowships, networking, and educational resources. The program helps producers build community, strengthen creative skills, understand the field, and develop strategies for pitching, producing, financing, and releasing films.
At its heart is the Producers Track, which supports emerging independent producers with work-in-progress feature-length films through separate Feature Film and Documentary Film tracks. Selected producers participate in a lab and yearlong fellowship. Across its initiatives, Sundance seeks passionate, bold, risk-taking, and creatively rigorous artists, with attention to their connection to the story, creative and logistical plans, and intended audience impact.
