The Professional Development Assistance (PDA) Program, administered by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources through the Solid Waste Alternatives Program (SWAP), provides small financial awards to support professional growth activities focused on reducing solid waste generation and increasing landfill diversion in Iowa. Funding is available for a variety of professional development opportunities, including technical assistance, public awareness campaigns, continuing education, workshops, and conferences.
