Description
This program provides funding to SME Sections for innovative, one-time projects aimed at advancing the mining industry, enhancing member engagement, and supporting professional development. Eligible projects may include educational outreach, community science initiatives, local conferences, K-12 programs, and collaborations with organizations to promote mining and science education. The grant is designed to support impactful initiatives that contribute to positive change in public perception of mining and strengthen the SME community.
