Description
The Professional Section Grant Program is designed to support SME Sections in developing and executing projects that change public perception of mining, enhance SME member engagement, and provide professional development opportunities. Funding is intended for specific, one-time initiatives with significant scope and impact, such as educational outreach, local community programs, professional conferences, and collaborative efforts with organizations like schools or youth groups. Grants are not intended for ongoing expenses, student chapter support, or general section activities.
