Description
The Program in the Study of Mysticism, also known as PRISM, is a five-year initiative by the Templeton Religion Trust dedicated to exploring mystical experiences and their significance within religious traditions across cultures and history. This program supports a global network of scholars and fosters original research, comparative studies, and public engagement to demystify and advance the scholarly study of mysticism. PRISM encourages interdisciplinary approaches, rigorous evidence-informed research, and collaboration across religious, cultural, and academic boundaries, with a focus on generating new knowledge, building expert communities, and promoting public interest in mysticism.
