Description
Harvard’s Program on Science, Technology and Society (STS), based at the Harvard Kennedy School, hosts a small number of fellows each year for research and advanced training. The program is particularly suited to doctoral students undertaking dissertation research and writing, and recent Ph.D. recipients whose research would benefit from systematic exposure to STS theories and methods. Applicants are evaluated for alignment with the program’s intellectual strengths and substantive research interests.
The fellowship provides a collegial environment combining coursework with engagement in the Cambridge-based STS community. Fellows discuss their research in weekly group meetings, attend weekly STS Circle seminars, audit relevant Harvard graduate courses, and participate in major program events. Cohorts bring together researchers from varied backgrounds, cultures, and countries, supporting international scholarly exchange.
