Description
Program Support Grants from the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation support nonprofit programs and projects serving Linn County, Iowa. The program funds both new initiatives and ongoing work, with separate application paths for program and project requests. Organizations based outside Linn County may seek support only for the portion of their work benefiting the county.
The Foundation’s broad, multi-sector grantmaking strategy prioritizes organizations deeply engaged in, or actively working to improve, organizational equity and justice practices. These practices include internal operations, employment, volunteer opportunities, and delivery of programs and services. Applications are assessed for organizational readiness, soundness of the proposal, and measurable community impact in relation to the organization’s size and longevity.
