Description
Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Programme Award supports ambitious, integrated programmes addressing a complex central theme in dementia research. Designed for established research leaders, it brings together complementary disciplines, methodologies, technologies and expertise across multiple coordinated workstreams. The emphasis is on cohesive team science rather than isolated projects.
The programme aims to tackle major challenges in dementia, deliver sustained and transformative long-term impact, and establish clear pathways to translation and benefit for patients. It also seeks to build critical mass and leadership within the dementia research community. Scientific excellence, the strength of the research team and environment, and the potential impact for people affected by dementia are central to assessment.
