The Arts Fund for Region One provides funding to enhance arts education and experiences for K–12 students residing in the six towns of Northwest Connecticut (Canaan/Falls Village, Cornwall, Kent, North Canaan, Salisbury, and Sharon). The fund offers two primary opportunities: project grants for schools and organizations, and individual scholarships (Susan Fillman Memorial Scholarships) for students seeking to participate in arts-related programs or workshops. The overarching goal is to broaden access to the arts, enrich the curriculum, and foster connections among students, schools, artists, and the broader community.
