Description
Connecticut Humanities Project Grants fund the planning and implementation of community-oriented public humanities projects that deepen understanding of human history, culture, values, and beliefs. Grants are available for a variety of project types—such as exhibitions, discussion-based public programs, interpretive digital media, documentary films, K–12 curriculum development, tours, and community reading initiatives. Projects must demonstrate significant humanities expertise and content, articulate clearly defined goals, and, for implementation grants, be open to the public and free or low-cost to attend. Connecticut Humanities prioritizes projects that are inclusive, accessible, and foster public engagement, dialogue, and learning.
