Description
Fight for Sight’s Project Grants are designed to support research projects—both clinical and non-clinical—that aim to prevent, treat, or better understand sight loss caused by any eye condition. The scheme is structured to prioritize scientific merit, address unmet needs in vision research, and build capacity for future research leaders. A unique feature is the integration of reviewers with lived experience of vision loss into the assessment process, ensuring that funded projects are both scientifically robust and relevant to those affected.
Projects must demonstrate feasibility, scientific excellence, and value for money, and should include plans for meaningful public involvement throughout the research lifecycle.
