Description
Project Grants for Organizations are administered by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA). They support arts and culture projects that are relevant and meaningful to Rhode Island communities, whether they reach a small group or a large audience. Funded projects are connected activities with a distinct beginning and end, such as a festival, exhibition, class series, or thematically linked performances—not an organization’s entire season.
The program centers public engagement with art and a meaningful cultural life for Rhode Island residents. Artists should provide positive, purposeful experiences, and projects should actively involve people in making, experiencing, or learning about art. Projects that expand access for underserved communities are particularly suited to the program.
