Description
Project Support Grants from the Utah Division of Arts & Museums are designed for organizations and individuals who do not qualify for General Operating Support. They fund a wide range of arts and cultural activities in three main categories:
- Folk Arts Apprenticeship: Supports tradition bearers and apprentices in Utah’s diverse communities to ensure the transfer of cultural knowledge and skills.
- Creative Aging: Provides funding for sequential arts education classes for older adults, taught by professional artists, with a culminating community event.
- Individual Artist Advancement: Supports the professional development of Utah-based individual artists by funding activities such as residencies, skill-building, and professional opportunities.
These grants foster cultural vitality, support community engagement, and promote artistic advancement throughout Utah.
