Description
Utah Division of Arts & Museums (UA&M) offers Project Support Grants across three categories. Folk Arts Apprenticeships help accomplished traditional mentors pass cultural knowledge to apprentices from the same community, including Utah’s ethnic, Native, rural, and occupational communities. Creative Aging supports professional teaching artists delivering sequential, socially engaging classes for older adults, ending with a celebration of participants’ accomplishments.
Individual Artist Advancement supports timely external professional opportunities and resources that advance an artist’s career. Examples include marketing materials, residencies, intensive mentorship, conferences, professional fees, equipment, and documentation of work. This category supports professional growth rather than creating or distributing a specific artwork or artistic project.
