Description
The Burroughs Wellcome Fund's Promoting Innovation in Science and Mathematics (PRISM) award provides North Carolina K-12 public school educators (including charter and magnet schools) with funding to implement high-quality, hands-on, and inquiry-based STEM curriculum and activities in their classrooms. The program is designed to enhance student excitement and engagement in science and mathematics by enabling teachers to introduce innovative educational experiences. In addition to supporting the purchase of classroom materials, equipment, and supplies, the award offers additional funds for professional development specifically related to the use and implementation of new resources.
