Description
The Proposal Reviewer Fund, part of the Maryland Catalyst Fund at the University of Maryland, provides internal support for UMD faculty preparing significant external funding proposals. Its purpose is to incentivize proposal teams to engage external subject-matter or agency experts for rigorous pre-submission (“red team”) reviews, offering detailed feedback to improve the quality and competitiveness of proposals. This fund is intended specifically for covering honoraria costs for external reviewers, and is recommended when reviewer honoraria are the only proposal development costs requested.
