Description
The New York Community Trust’s Westchester Ongoing Competitive Grants Program supports projects addressing public policy, systems, or service delivery problems within its Westchester funding areas. Proposals should make a compelling case for needed changes, explain how planned activities will produce those changes, and show why the organization is prepared to carry out the work.
The program asks applicants to connect project goals and objectives with activities, intended beneficiaries, expected improvements in policies, systems, or services, and a plan for measuring results. An organization’s mission, major activities, and credentials are part of that case. Requests for renewed support must also describe progress achieved with earlier Trust funding in Westchester and explain how the project will be sustained after that support ends.
