Key Information: At least one applicant must be a current Society member both when applying and when the event takes place.
The Protein Society’s Member Mini-Grant program enables members to hold community events that enhance research in protein science. Supported activities include meetings, seminars, workshops, experiments, networking, and other small gatherings that bring people together to learn, collaborate, share perspectives, and make professional connections.
The program also encourages outreach that communicates the appeal and potential of protein research to junior investigators, students, and under-represented minorities. Ideas should support new protein research or help recruit new protein scientists. Creativity is strongly encouraged, including unconventional gatherings such as a protein science beach party.
